Supplying boats, paddles and spray skirts to Meyers Pool
Colorado Whitewater sponsors an open pool session and conducts classes at Meyers Pool on Sundays every spring. As a part of these classes, boats are supplied by a local kayak shop for the participants. They are also utilized as demo boats (when not being used for classes) for kayakers utilizing the open pool session. In order to allow a chance for any local shop to supply the boats, Colorado Whitewater will be taking bids from interested parties.
Requirements:
- Supply boats to Meyers Pool on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. every Sunday from February 7, 2010 to May 9, 2010, with the exception of February 21, April 4 and April 11, 2010.
- Boats must be delivered to and from the pool. Meyers pool is located at 7900 Carr Drive, Arvada, Colorado 80005.
- A minimum of 18 boats for adults and 4 boats for children is to be supplied, together with enough paddles and sprayskirts for the boats. A mixture of paddle lengths and sprayskirt sizes should be supplied. A mixture of different boat manufacturers and models is preferred. A mixture of river running, crossover and playboats is desired, but the majority should suit beginning paddlers.
Bidding Process:
- The selection of the boat supplier will be based on low bids meeting the above requirements. Please supply the bid on a per week basis.
- Bids will be taken until December 1, 2009 and the winning bid will be announced no later than December 8, 2009.
