The 17th Annual Golden Community Rodeo series is back!!! 

Come enjoy the 3 night Golden Community Rodeo Series at the Clear Creek Whitewater Park in downtown Golden, CO, presented by Colorado Whitewater, and Confluence Kayaks.

EVENTS Week 1: The first freestyle competition will be Wednesday, June 13 at the Clear Creek Whitewater Park in Golden. It is sponsored by Confluence Kayaks.

The comp is open to all kayakers*, including C1s, of all skill levels on June 13. Participants will be grouped into appropriate categories based on their age, gender, and skill level - typically Junior, Sport, Intermediate, Expert, and Masters Divisions for both men and women. Pros, this is for 

EVENTS Week 2: There will be a second freestyle competition on June 20 sponsored by Colorado Whitewater, with a cookout afterwards at the pavilion next to the whitewater park. New Image Brewing will provide beer!

EVENTS Week 3: There will be a fun downriver race for all crafts on Wednesday, June 27 sponsored by Golden River Sports. No registration is necessary. Simply show up prior to 5:30 on competition day to sign up for a category.

TIME: Registration begins at 5:00pm each Wednesday. Competition starts at approx. 5:45pm.

LOCATION: Clear Creek Whitewater Park, 1201 10th St, Golden, CO 80401

COST: Admission to compete in the series is free. However, you must be a current Colorado Whitewater member for insurance purposes. Renew or sign-up online or at the event for only $30, which includes entry to all three events and a one-year membership to Colorado Whitewater.
