Charles DeRosa

Charles began whitewater kayaking in the mid-1990s through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), but his real whitewater education began at the Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC).

Starting as a raft guide, he went on to complete his instructor course and spent the next five years leading international trips and teaching kayaking there. Over the years, he's paddled rivers across the United States and Canada, as well as in Nepal, New Zealand, and throughout Europe.
