This series of classes is intended for youth, ages 8-17, and will provide a progression of skills designed to develop safe, strong and confident white water paddlers. This class is suitable for the brand new, intermediate and advanced youth kayakers. Kids will learn about boats, essential gear, paddle strokes, river safety, rolling and bracing, play boating and more. The focus will be on SAFE, FUN boating. Participants will need parental approval.  CW has a limited amount of equipment that can be made available for student use.

Prerequisites: None

Cost: $185 for the course.

Note: Unlike past years, we will not have open pool space available during the Kids Team lessons.

Class Times & Dates: The classes will meet on the following dates:

• February 13: 2:30-4:30 pm (classroom session first 30 minutes)
• February 27: 2:30-4:30 pm (classroom session first 30 minutes)
• March 13: 2:30-4:30 pm (classroom session first 30 minutes)
• April 10: 2:30 - 4:30 pm (classroom session first 30 minutes)
• April 24: 2:30 - 4:30 pm (classroom session first 30 minutes)

Flatwater Day May 14th, Moving Water Day May 15th. More information about these dates to follow.
