This special First Aid CPR course is tailored to paddlers and kayaking. Instructor Tom Burroughs runs the ACA nation-wide and international swift water rescue (SWR) committee, is an international cave rescue expert, is a wilderness EMT instructor for ASHI and paramedic, lead  and directs his own swift water rescue, emergency, medicine, and kayak instruction company, and also his counties’ SAR team. He is an ACA ITE for SWR, kayak, and raft instruction.


Camping the night before, or the night of the course is available with camping and food be included for free as part of the course.
