  • Willing to dedicate time to help lead/sweep filter plant trips. The river gods will smile upon you. :)
  • You are totally psyched to get out on the Filter Plant run, however you would really like some one to show you the ropes.
  • You're here to hang out and have fun on the Poudre with your CW buds.

Thanks for registering! Be sure to contact the Poudre KOA to reserve camping at 970 493-9758.

Cruises:
Organized cruises will be offered for the Filter Plant run, a fun Class II+ run near the mouth of the canyon on Saturday and Sunday.  Register as "Excited beginner" to sign up as a cruise participant, or "Selfless volunteer" to help lead or sweep.  Participants will asked for a preference of Saturday or Sunday for their cruise, however typically there are enough volunteers to accommodate participation in cruises on both days.

I will ask volunteers to commit to one day only, and typically you will have time for another run after leading/sweeping your Filter Plant cruise.  Anyone interested in runs other than the Filter Plant can organize at the meeting location or at camp.

MEETING LOCATION AND TIME WILL BE E-MAILED TO YOU UPON REGISTRATION.

Camping:
Sites 46-56 and the overflow camping have been reserved for CW at the KOA Campground for Friday and Saturday nights (June 7th & 8th
).  The KOA campground is across from Ted's Place at the mouth of the Poudre canyon; turn right (east) off of 287 0.3 miles north of Ted's Place (where the divided highway ends).  Camping is $13/person per night, kids under 5 free. Cabins are available, as are RV hookups.

PLEASE CALL 970-493-9758 TO MAKE RESERVATIONS- TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE WITH THE COLORADO WHITEWATER GROUP.  There is a $10 cancellation fee, and cancellations must be made two weeks prior.

POTLUCK DINNER:  At the KOA Saturday evening, stoves will be available.  Bring main course, salad, or desert.  If you are not camping you can still attend the potluck, but you must stop in at the KOA office and pay a $5 visitor fee.
